About Canwen Xu

Canwen Xu is a writer living in New York City. Her debut novel, Boring Asian Female, has been described by the New York Times as a "zippy novel [that] goes deeper than LSAT scores" and by an anonymous Goodreads reviewer as "the 90th percentile of unhinged" (slightly offensive given she'd been hoping for 99th. Just kidding -- that would imply the novel was autobiographical, which of course it was not!). In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time with her British Shorthair cat, Princess Gigi.
